Cole Hager

Hello racing fans! Meet our Driver of the Week, Legend driver Cole Hager. Cole is 15 years old and from Denton, TX. He races in the Young Lion Division, home track isĀ Texas Motor Speedway. He races with the #10 on his race car because he is a big fan of INDY driver, Tony Kanaan. Cole’s team is URT Motorsports (United Racing Tech motorsports). Cole started racing in 2014 at the age of 11 at North Texas Karters in Denton,TX. He raced a Margay Cadet with Briggs LO206 engine in JR1 and won the track championship in 2014 and 2015. He was also the 2014 New Braunfels Kartoberfest Champion. Cole then moved to JR2 in 2016 and won the JR2 Track Championship. He has placed 3rd in the nation in the Kart Grand Nationals in 2016. Cole joined the Lonestar Legend series in 2017. He has added to his collection of trophies with 3rd place Texas Young Lion Division points 2017 and 2nd place Texas Young Lion Division points 2018. Cole’s favorite racing memory is, “When I won a Championship in Go Karts”. His best racing advise ever received is; “To always stay positive”.
